Suky Best is an artist working with print, animation and video.

In 2009 she made a commisison for the Tatton Park Biennial website, the flowers of the mansion and the online christmas card for arts council england. In 2008 she completed Early Birds an Animate Projects commission for Channel 4 in association with Arts Council England, About Running a moving image commission for The Great North Run ( an annual half marathon that takes place in Newcastle) shown at the Baltic Gateshead.
Stone Voices, a permanent sculptural piece for the Devils Glen in Ireland, and
From the Archive, an animation for the main reception area of University College
Hospital London. She has recently exhibited Rodeo & Wild West
( works made in collaboration with Rory Hamilton) at Danielle Arnaud &
Art Now Lightbox at Tate Britain and recently had a solo exhibition and publication,
The Return of the Native at the Pump House Gallery London.
In 2005 she completed a Wellcome Trust funded SCIART project, making animations
for hospital outpatient areas.

In recent years she has had commissions from: English Heritage (as part of a YOTA/SWA/DA2
project) at Cleeve Abbey in Somerset. Made a 40 second film for Travellers Tales,
an INIVA Commission. Ten Journeys, a series of video to print works as part of Dartmoor Insight
for AHA/Da2. And was Fellow in Printmaking at the University of Wolverhampton
(funded by the Henry Moore Foundation)1998-2000.
